Of all the big game of the West, the pronghorn is my favorite to see out on the range. There's just something about them. I find this animal to be one of the greatest emblems of the West and of the steppe country I call home here in Idaho. Pronghorn are hardy, tough, live and thrive in some of the most inhospitable regions and are tremendously curious. When I see their white rumps out in the wind and sage I have a sense of homecoming, a sense that all shall be well. If the sage runners endure, so shall I.

This necklace features a tiny pronghorn form built carefully of two layers of sterling silver and is rather anatomically correct you'll find! I've framed him with a smooth arc of heavy sterling that connects to a GORGEOUS cut of Rocky Butte Picture Jasper. The fina details are a swish of my long sterling jingles, a 22K gold hoop and a heavy chain that is adjustable. This piece is so thoughtful and is such a lovely homage to the life I get to share in Idaho's steppe country with these wonderful animals.
