I ride my horses to the Post Office in town from time to time and while riding this summer, I saw a red-tailed hawk flying with a snake in her fist. Some kind of omen. or just a hawk flying with her meal in her talons. Either way, when I reached home I hopped in my studio and made a few sterling silver hawks -- sawed, overlaid with deep texture, carved and shaped until the details pop.
These hawks are paired with an enormous cut of Wild Horse Pictures Jasper , my square crosses and a bevy of sterling silver jingles that move and sway as you wear this piece. This is such a lovely narrative piece that speaks of wild open spaces and the steppe country I call home, wear it well and then hand it down to your daughter or niece someday.❤️
All sterling silver with a bronze accent at the clasp. My love is in the details.
Length: About 34 inches of burly chain with a sturdy hook closure -- this chain is slightly adjustable as the clasp can be hooked anywhere along the chain length.
One of a kind!
