The pollinators, hatched out into this beautiful world, transmogrified into winged things living short and simple lives of duty. What if we were so singular in our focus? What great things might we achieve?
The robust and thrumming life of my gardens inspired this series a couple years ago and I find it speaks of the quiet beauty of nature and the wonder of cultivation. This design pleases me as much as the real thing, as much as sitting in my flower garden watching the moths, butterflies, bees and hummingbirds in the blossoms I grew specifically for them.
Being alive is a kind of effortless labor of love.
These earrings help me feel it all.
