The first time I saw a dogwood in bloom I was absolutely transported -- there is no finer flowering tree in spring. While I can tend magnolia trees here in the Hagerman Valley of Idaho (we are that temperate!!!) I always wish I could plant a dogwood on our farm and watch it thrive.
