Old-cut garnet beads made absolutely delicious with their irregularity and sweetened by my sterling silver bouquet button at the clasp.  These bead strands are handknotted and have really sensual flexibility and softness to them which is the best attribute of using the handknotting technique to string beads.  

I like to wear garnet very much.  There is something about this gemstone that feels heavier than other types of stone, it must have to do with the molecular density of the matter but I find garnet worn next to skin absolutely lovely feeling because the stones go on so cold and warm wonderfully to touch.  When they are removed, they hold that warmth longer than other stone which means something to me that I can't quite give words to - a mingling of molecular energy between human and stone that is uncommon.  So special.

Length: About 34 inches long so they can be worn at opera length or wrapped twice around most necks (which is how I prefer to wear these beads).
