I recently shopped the Tucson Gem Show and found a vendor selling ancient hand carved beads from an area on the globe that USED to be called Mesopotamia. I was drawn to his selection of old, hand whittled coral and I wound up purchasing a few strands from him. I've restrung them here with an array of other corals, glass beads and one ancient hand carved carnelian.
I love the warm colors in this necklace and the organic shapes of these beads. Sweet and wild.
