I ride my horses to the Post Office in town from time to time and while riding this summer, I saw a red-tailed hawk flying with a snake in her fist. Some kind of omen. or just a hawk flying with her meal in her talons. Either way, when I reached home I hopped in my studio and made a few sterling silver hawks -- sawed, overlaid with deep texture, carved and shaped until the details pop. She's paired with a cut of Rocky Butte Picture Jasper and one of my rugged little square crosses. All sterling silver with bronze accents and a super burly chain. This necklace is a heavy and dimensional piece, all my love is in the details.
Length: Almost 25 inches in length with a heavy clasp -- this necklace is adjustable in length as the clasp can be fixed anywhere along the chain length.
