We had such a spectacular fall green up here on the Snake River Plain -- all the canyon walls and flats have more grass than we've had in a couple years which delights my heart. Creatures have something to eat! Ranchers have forage for their cattle and sheep. My own hayfield is up ten inches in some places. What a blessing. Down in the spring creek bottoms, deep in the black canyons, ferns are popping up by surprise, in praise of the rain. It's so beautiful and mysterious the way the steppe responds to precipitation, everything seems to call out hallelujah at the sky. Me too.
_______________
Flashy labradorite paired in approximate rhyme and dimensional ferns in warm brass and sterling silver. Beautiful.
