I made these earrings for fun, to meander a little in the studio, after weeks of disciplined work. The design was inspired by my strolls in the gloaming alongside my chattering winter river. If you know the Russian olive tree, then you know how the stars get caught in the branches, especially in winter.
Sterling silver stars and textural brass branches -- oxidized and lightly satin finished. These earrings have a little whimsy to them. They're lightweight, like a lullaby.
