These necklaces are the result of carefully milling sterling ingots, hand texturing them, deeply stamping them and giving them a soft, hand worked finish. I love to use small, milled ingots in my designs because I can't completely control their shape as I roll them over and over again, thinner and thinner. The results are always organic in nature and these pendants are no exception.
I've paired them with my square crosses from my "Light Burden" series. These chunky charms have a rich weight and an ancient feel, they also remind me of Catholic medals which brings to mind prayer and faith. I hope these necklaces become daily companions for you, reminders to look up when the darkness surrounds you.
