Plume Necklace -- Small

I've wanted to create a trademark "Plume Necklace" for a few years and here it finally is.  These beauties are somehow heavy and soft, solid and ethereal.  Made to be worn solo but even better worn together.

Harmonious.  Easy.  Natural.

Your feather began as scrap sterling in my studio, melted down into an ingot, milled out to 8ga and then carefully whittled and carved into existence.  I've always viewed feathers (and antlers and turtle shells and river-washed agates and seed pods and wildflower patches) as little gifts from God sent to me as a reminder that I am remembered and cherished.

Find your feather.  Clasp your treasure to your heart.  Take it home.

_______________________________________

One of my trademark feathers in solid sterling silver on a delicate sterling chain.  This pendant comes to rest around your neck like a real feather would on a sagebrush branch.  Alive in the breeze, anchored by hardly anything at all.

Feather length: About 1.25 inches long, in a thickness that is about 10ga.  Heavy.  This piece has a lovely presence.

Chain length:  About 18 inches with my s-clasp.
