Plume Necklace -- Large Feather All Sterling -- MADE TO ORDER

I've wanted to create a trademark "Plume Necklace" for a few years and here it finally is.  These beauties are somehow heavy and soft, solid and ethereal.  Made to be worn solo but even better worn together.  

Harmonious.  Easy.  Natural.

 

Your feather began as scrap sterling in my studio, melted down into an ingot, milled out to 8ga and then carefully whittled and carved into existence.  I've always viewed feathers (and antlers and turtle shells and river-washed agates and seed pods and wildflower patches) as little gifts from God sent to me as a reminder that I am remembered and cherished.

Find your feather.  Clasp your treasure to your heart.  Take it home.

A big, thick, sterling silver feather on a chunky cable chain with a rope clasp.  This necklace is beautiful alone and amazing layered up with other pieces.

All sterling silver.

Feather length: 3 inches long, in a thickness that is about 10ga.  Heavy.  This necklace has such a beautiful presence.

Chain length:  About 25 inches with a chunky rope clasp.
